About Our Practice
At the office of Dr. Kamyar Negari, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional dental care in a warm, friendly environment. We are seeking a versatile Temporary Front Office Receptionist to join our team. This role is primarily administrative, but we are highly interested in candidates with back-office experience who can lend a hand in the operatory when needed.
The Role
Front Office (Approx. 80%): You will be the face of the practice—managing phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and checking patients in/out.
Clinical Support (Approx. 20%): For candidates with DA experience, you will assist the clinical team in the back during transitions or busy periods.
Who should apply? This is a perfect fit for an experienced Front Office professional with a clinical background, or a Dental Assistant (DA) looking to transition into a front-office role.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and manage the front desk with a professional, friendly attitude.
Manage insurance verification, copayments, and patient records.
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
Back Office Support: Assist in operatories and clinical areas as needed (requires valid Infection Control certification).
Qualifications
Experience: Previous dental office experience is required.
Clinical Skills: Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is a major plus.
Compliance: Must have completed required Infection Control classes to assist in the back.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with Dentrix and Dexis is highly preferred.
Soft Skills: Excellent multitasking, communication, and a reliable, professional demeanor.
